    Q fr @hunkerdad Can an experienced pilot hop in any plane for which he is rated regardless of manufacturer & fly it w/o instruction on where controls/gauges are? A: Don't try that at home. :-) I always got checked out at least on the ground 1st. @ABC @NBCNews @POTUS @USairforce

        Most experienced pilots wil be able to fly an unfamiliar plane, but they won't know what to do when things go wrong as every manufacturer has different designs which require different approaches.
