We were the kicker who made a last second field goal to win it in both world wars. Britain/France and Russia did the slogging up and down the field for the first three and a half quarters.

I find it annoying when someone always has to pipe in and try to take credit away from the United States.
No the United States didn’t do it alone but Americans didn’t come in at the last minute and take all the glory either. A lot of Americans gave their lives in that war.1 reply 0 retweets 1 like -

I’m not taking credit away. Pull a stranger off the street and ask them anything about the Eastern Front, anything at all. To most Americans ww2 started at the end of 1941. It’s being objective rather than taking history lessons from movies and tv shows.
