Mar 28, 1948 – B-29 Superfortresses undergo aerial refueling tests, demonstrating viability of this technique to extend the range of strategic bombers. Very useful. #B29 @usairforce I was still at Muroc Air Base doing test work, partly further tests on X-1 #BellX1 #Superfortress

I worked on the MC-130P/N at Eglin AFB which did air refueling of Special Ops helicopters as its main mission. I was hydraulics, so the refueling system was my baby. It was a fascinating system really and interesting to see in action.

What flew as the tanker? I’m guess another Super Fortress modified to do so?

Sir, I unfortunately have not had the privilege of even seeing a B-29 in real life but was able to Tour a B-17. My favorite bomber. I love your tweets and thank you for your service and the sacrifices you’ve made for us.

Rob, there's a B-29 at Meacham Airport outside Fort Worth - at their CAF museum. It also goes on tour around the country. @usairforce @HISTORY

Great knowledge about ‘Superfortresses’ Chuck, however when are you going to disclose the fate of the Indian POWs captured during the the 1971 Indo-Pak War? Time is running out....https://thediplomat.com/2015/08/india-pakistan-and-the-1971-war-pows/ …
