It was SNA airport OC Calif 1970. C 150 by close I meant stall horn & bad buffeting stage about at the threshhold. Power on in time Id say. My instructor an ex B-47 pilot watchn from the green was a bit worried as he mentioned. I was 18 . Good ole days. Take care sir and thanks.
