It's sad to see how Jeremy Clarkson disrespects a living legend like General Chuck Yeager, He must remember that he is contradicting not only one of the best test Pilots in History, General Yeager is a Hero and has inspired many people like me.GOD BLESS GENERAL

Disagree doesn't mean disrespect. So he was a great test pilot.... I'm great at procrastinating...doesn't mean anyone who disagrees with me about wasting time is automatically wrong and disrespectful.

The M.52, while having a passing resemblance to the X-1 has a couple a big differences- 1. It's jet powered, not rocket powered, and 2. The flying tail is low mounted, and not high mounted, as in the X-1. There's probably a bit of borrowing there, but hard to say we stole it.
