@GenChuckYeager also has a street sign at Edwards.. I was there that day for the dedication.. There are many streets named for pilots posthumously.. I wonder if Doolittle and Yeager are the only ones to get street signs while still alive.. - Show replies

At an AFA event in DC b4 the @Singingsergeant went on announcer said "If you flew B-52s in Vietnam, please stand up, if you flew combat in Europe in WWII stand up.." when he said, "If you were a Dolittle Raider.. " about 50 men in a group stood up to great cheering & applause!
