I side with firing based on the work rules/law for air traffic controllers. If I have a tough time at work I stay and try to work it out. No judgement though...I May have walked if I had their work conditions.

My son is an ATC in Salt Lake City. He says the replacements for the PATCO ATCs Reagan fired are starting to retire out and there's a big demand for trained ATCs. With his prior military, DOD and now FAA my son has 15 years seniority waiting for a lateral transfer 2 Orlando

Reagan broke his promised to PATCO. They endorsed him because he promised he would upgrade unsafe equipment. Fired them to prove a point.
