Is it true that after the German surrender, the Soviets were allowed to round up their 1917 revolution expats in liberated Western Europe for forced repatriation?
@: A Russian Lady? In occupied France? How peculiar. Did you ask her how she got there? A: Her family and she left a fortune in Russia during the Bolshevik revolution. Then she left PAris in 1940 when the Germans came there. Grignols was not occupied -it was administered. #WWII

I’m pretty sure that was not the case in areas controlled by USA and UK. It may have happened in Soviet controlled countries although I met White Russian descendants in Romania and Hungary
