Why the hell didn't they shut and lock and doors so they couldn't leave and then call the police? Every one of them should have been arrested.
Yes, but it hasn't eliminated the problem because we are way short on housing unfortunately. Hotels are not the most cost effective, but given the emergency, that's what we have. If you have a better idea, I am listening..... These problems aren't easy to solve :-(

I agree these are gigantic problems that need conversations explanations and logic. I don’t think harm reduction is the only way. It’s the only truly practiced city drug effort. There are billboards and banners for narcan. Push a different message. Maybe that would be a start.

I’m certain from my on the ground Soma view it’s all drugs. Addiction is the biggest of all those challenges. It’s all really buffoonery until drugs and mental health are truly addressed. First step to recovery is admitting you have a problem. Legit truth.
