    Congratulations to past student Allie Smith (OGG'17) on her call-up to the Melbourne Vixens as a training partner for the 2019 season. Allie joins fellow Old Geelong Grammarians Tayla Honey (OGG'15) and Emily Mannix (OGG'12) in the Vixens squad.

    Henry Martin (Yr10) scored a try as the 'A' team secured their first win on their European tour, defeating Sligo Rugby Football Club 35-14 in the second match of the tour. The 'B' team have won both their matches. Jem Schutzinger scored for VSRU B vs Sligo B.

    GGS 5/262 def Wes 167 by 95 runs Riley snags the last, top edged high into the safe gloves of Hatzoglou. A fine finish to a excellent term 4 of cricket by our boys, who will be headed into next year with a tie and two victories under their belt. Happy Holidays, see you next year

    Wes 8/121 from 29.3 overs GGS 262 Serong snags his third of the innings, slamming the ball into the base of the stumps as the batsman swings wildly. GGS can practically taste their second victory of the season at this point

    Our Boys' 1st Tennis lost to Wesley College this morning, 12 sets to four. While that first win hasn't arrived yet, there has been a noticeable improvement from the 1st team this season and they're enjoying their tennis. Onward and upward in 2019!

    Some late big hitting from Tanner Bruhn (81 not out) sees our 1st XI finish on 5/262 from their 50 overs.

    GGS 5/220 from 47.3 overs Serong holes out at mid wicket swinging for the fences for 6. Nothing changes for the boys, still quicks will be the priority
