Funnily enough we were talking in the office yesterday about all these 'listening devices' being taken into boardrooms, The Cabinet, Parliament etc - its disconcerting how few people seem to see this as problematic - in fact when I talk about it I get looks of 'oh he is paranoid'

In the interest of openness you should have

Think you’d be wiser to ask someone from Defence IT to set your phone up so you can’t be recorded via it, apps like Siri are an easy way in for hackers, especially when you don’t keep track of it being off/on

Surely for ministers/MPs all phones are provided by inhouse IT team and locked down to prevent this and other secuirty issues. In most high secuirty positions having your own personal phone on premises or during business would be sackable offence.
