Getting to a point where at least 70% of the population is vaccinated is a necessary priority for us to move beyond CoVid19 
. Having to spend tax dollars to incentivize and reward people to do the right thing for themselves, their communities and the State 
not a @GavinNewsom defector, but yeah —this reeks of desperation. I just feel like it’s not necessary. Are anti-Vaxxers really going to give up their beliefs for what amounts to lottery winning odds?

IMO, the money should go to the vaccine trial volunteers, not to incentivize people who still believe in vaccine conspiracy theories despite millions vaxed with no major side effects.
