In the 80's chess programs on Apple I could beat the avg 10 yr old. AI vision systems currently can't compare to a 2 yr old. Maybe not even a 1 yr old.

We don’t keep sheep indoors so mistaking them for a cats is not so far wrong. Likewise I’ve seen a lot of sheep but never an orange one.

But the thing is if you see an orange one, you will recognize it regardless. As you have actual understanding of what sheep actually is. Not the case with current ANNs.
