I am referring to innate symbolic machinery. Deep Learning based language translators don't have innate symbolic processors but do natural language translation quite well. An intuitive system is able to simulate logic and symbolic processing, but there is no innate mechanism.

I don't often agree with
@IntuitMachine but he's certainly right in this respect. Doing symbolic logic is an external behavior, not the basis of intelligence. But DL experts do not realize that a DNN is also symbolic (labels are symbols) and as such, are not intelligent.Thanks. Twitter will use this to make your timeline better. UndoUndo
