@DeepMindAI isn't implying that either. They do have another paper out https://arxiv.org/abs/1802.04697v1 … that explores this short coming. So I'm just as guilty as you are in incorrectly inferring a position.
they built MCTS into the system; no error there. you inferred something i directly contradicted in print. that’s an error. those are different.
