no, it can be replicated, but only by algorithms that respond dynamically to context; these don't yet exist.

but that idea right there blows up into itself. If you change contexts you change the thing itself. Look at the evolution of language. Giving it new context changed language and then backpropogates to change the species itself. There’s no use in replication as concept.

A more interesting approach might be to seek novel behaviors and measure affectation of ecosystems. Instead of mimicking Wikipedia articles or board game playing... perhaps we should write poetry and make new games.
