I think you've overstepped your competence here. You can certainly argue about approaches to human cognition, but this is an area where you are entirely wrong. Physics has always employed numerical methods, DL is another tool that can improve these methods.

Excellent commentary. On the 3 body problem paper, an additional remark: curve fitting, function approximation, and system identification have been used to interpolate and speed up calculations of complex physical models for almost as long as computers have existed (maybe longer)
