But did you not say that neural networks should be abandoned in your book 'The Algebraic Mind'? Are you thus changing your mind based on recent impressive developments?
Absolutely not. Trying reading the book, or at least the subtitle? I have been calling for hybrids since my first publication, in 1992, on children's overregularization; never once said that there is no place for neural networks.
