What I'm saying is that the argument against deep learning methods is to difficult for the average layman to understand and make an informed decision. It's at the same level of difficulty as explaining why OpenAI solved the Rubik's cube manipulation problem.
it's really not hard to explain that the rubik's system moved hands but used a built in algorithm to decide where to turn the cube.
It's difficult for people to grok that solving the cube is an easier problem than manipulating the cube. Humans understand the difficulties of things relative to themselves. The entire problem of communicating synthetic cognition is the immature vocabulary humans employ.
