Of course what nobody questions is if #AI is exaggerating its claims. When looking at the call about "ethics" it suggests that #AI is so dangerous as the hype (!) suggests. Arts as a useful idiot? @GaryMarcus @ArsElectronica

AI need not attain super-intelligence to become exceedingly dangerous. It all depends on how it's (mis)used. AI is already being used to screen job applicants and underwrite mortgages--already making life-altering decisions for humans--even in its fledgling, over-hyped state.
