Marcus claims that no algorithm can rule them all. He's claiming that no single system can learn every possible task. Marcus is so clueless, it hurts. One system to rule them all is exactly what an AGI will be. For ex., the brain uses cortical columns for all perceptual tasks.

OK. Marcus wants to use GOFAI to explain to a hybrid DL/GOFAI system that uses DL to classify cats, for example, everything that a cat is. This is the most stupid idea I've heard. But, by all means, convince Silicon Valley investors to waste a few billions on it. I like that.
