Apparently Smart Summon uses old school AI for planing, and assumes a static environment. Planning and then moving. But it don't updates the plan dynamically in real time. I like Smart Summon, I just hope that don't share the code with the upcoming autonomous driving software.

Oh, just guessing from the videos. Some hints are (imo) how the car stops and waits from time to time, and how the car (in one video) goes around the space where a person used to be (but moved since). That is not the way a end to end system usually behaves. But just a guess
