this is 3+ kinds of wrong: aphasia may be a problem with expressing language rather than use of language; i have argued against using GOFAI on its own, not for it, and GOFAI might be closer to amodal representation than language per se, arguably closer to aphasics in the report.
Can we agree on the conclusion that GOFAI on its own is pretty much dead?
A lot of strands are still useful, but I wouldn't use it on its own for most problems.
