You have no idea how. You cannot impart commonsense to a machine with hand-coded prior knowledge a la Cyc. That's ridiculous. Common sense, a causal and predictive grasp of the geometry, optics and physics of the world is learned.

You can start by designing a retina with thousands of minute motion detectors for various angles and directions. Everything must be yin-yang (the secret to learning physics and geometry): detectors must come in opposite pairs. Just mechanism design, not programmed-in knowledge.
