Whithout rulings like this users will continue to say " I don't care about my data, I' m not a criminal". Nothing works bettee as an eye opener as a big ruling, especially from EU. US agencies contineu on not protecting their consumers on such matters.

Buuut, companies usually(at-least in the free world) operate the same way across all jurisdictions. So all you need is one agency to stick up to facebook.
