The bot didn't have access to anything the humans couldn't see, but admittedly because it didn't have to move a camera around the screen it was more efficient. Yep! The article is great. The feat wasn't as impressive as it looks. But DeepMind was very clear about everything during the twitch stream.

They talk about seeing the entire map through the api in the part they talk about observations.
