no, but as i said explicitly in a recent essay that you excoriated but apparently didn’t read, some neural networks implement symbol-manipulation and others don’t. agree? disagree?

The excoriating is against you "deep learning sucks" message. I would agree with "supervised learning sucks (but it's useful)". But DL is just gradient-based optimization applied to multi-module architectures. And you admit that DL is part of the solution. Be consistent.
