This totally self-serving piece is so egregiously disconnected from reality that it doesn't deserve a response. Past exchanges have shown that writing a response would be a waste of time. We have better things to do with our time. Like actually doing research on AI.

Without stepping on toes here, I do genuinely think there's an interesting debate to be had and that, according to my understanding, your respective views bear some high level similarities. Perhaps twitter isn't the best place to have a long discussion about this, though...

Fully agree. I believe @Medium would allow for longer form comments from Yann if he chose to write a longer, more carefully documented reply. and I have no doubt that the field would benefit.
