Oh, and translate languages, recognize faces, detect diseases, optimize wildfire fighting, save endangered species, optimize new drugs, revolutionize robot grasping, etc. But aside from that, what have the Romans done for us?

my quote, taken out of context, and from nearly a year ago, wasn’t about AI’s potential, it was about what had been delivered. AFAIK no actual species has been saved, robot grasping has improved but still isn’t robust etc.
