Watson Health is scaling back, Facebook M never delivered, driverless cars are facing challenges. Not saying another AI winter is coming, but overpromising is certainly something that could lead to one.https://www.statnews.com/2018/06/15/ibm-watson-health-scale-back-hospital-business/ …
You don’t know how many of the Teslea miles were unassisted by humans/with autopilot engaged, you are ignoring subsequent deaths etc (post hoc selection), and comparing highway driving with other miles etc. I would not rest my life on that particular NTSB report or small sample.

The small section of highway driving I referenced helped your argument as that was where 1 death occurred and thus limited sample to 1/90k. There are many more other highway and road miles driven w/o deaths (I can find) in last 2 years. What subsequent deaths am I ignoring?

What other deaths are attributable to AI? Is your post hoc selection reference implying the Tesla’s are causing others to crash and die, yet going unreported/unaccounted? All deaths are “problems” but AI doesn’t get drunk, drowsy, text. Must maintain perspective as AI improves.
