This is all in the tenderloin in SF, a place many would call the ghetto. SF has a very low violent crime rate statistically for a major US city. The majority of top cities by violent crime are republican controlled.

The most crime-ridden cities that come to mind are Chicago, New York, Portland. All Democrat controlled.

Not based on statistics. That's based on how you feel, which is the result of consuming propaganda by people with an agenda. And that's not even accounting for the correlation that most major cities lean democrat.

Here's your statistics, from the FBI. You're the one who is the victim of propaganda, or the one with the agenda. What's your statistics source on your assertion "The majority of top cities by violent crime are republican controlled"? Seems like you're slightly off.

Crime is correlated to population density. And higher population density is correlated to dem mayor. Look at your per capita numbers. Lots of republican states and right leaning cities as far as major cities go.

So ignoring your completely irrelevant and off-topic commentary you just made up your claim "The majority of top cities by violent crime are republican controlled."

On the spectrum of of major cities, the most violent cities are on the right, in states on the right. Most violent crime by state per capita, look it up. It's basically the more right, the more violent crime.https://www.usatoday.com/story/news/nation/2019/07/16/americas-most-violent-and-peaceful-states/39672421/ …

Replying to @Garrag4 @LastCoinStandng and
You're basically trying to argue that population density leads to higher violent crime. But that's a pretty obvious outcome that has nothing to do with political bias.

If you could remove the 100,000 population floor required to make those lists, you'd find a *lot* of republican run areas.
