so, is making me write a testimony to defend my interest in continuing my long term relationship with a therapist i have been seeing since 2012. I cant help but thinking-- what if someone without a PhD was asked to do the same?

I don’t think they have the capacity to properly evaluate what you are going to provide.

LOL, i didnt write them a scientific paper. I compiled the reasons into a simple language letter that explains why I would like to continue with the same person

Im in extension & my job is to tailor messages/research to broad and specific audiences-- so, I consider this something Im an expert at lol...but again, just another bias against regular people...communicating effectively is difficult.
