I hope my Aji Limon (aka Lemon Drop) #chillis make the most of August. This variety is usually one of the last to ripen in my garden.

I was told by Aji Limon and Lemon Drop are not the same. I have both from them and will see how different they are.

I have also seen Hot Lemon seeds on sale, I suspect they are all the same. I didn't have room for Aji Limon as I have several Aji Guyana which is meant to be a bit citrusy. (Pods are over 10cm).

Probably. Someone could test the genetics but how similar do they have to be to the same variety? At this point I would settle for the looks and tastes.
I guess a chilli variety can diverge into different strains due to selection by growers, & there's always the chance of cross pollination. A red piripiri I grow turned yellow due to stray pollen, possibly from Aji Limon?

Yes, in the past I have several unique hybrids, because all my chillis are grown outdoors and right next door to each other.
