The xdefiant Reddit is full of players complaining that aim assist isnt strong enough. Modern games have made so many players entitled to pro level aim that the second they start missing shots, it’s the games fault and they refuse to accept that maybe their aim isn’t that good.

We will never have boss encounters that are actually fun and engage the player as long as Well exist how it does. Other games have such great boss encounters because you need to dodge, heal, get cover, kite the boss, etc.

Master raids should be contest mode and rewards age of triumph armor for remake raids. For new raids can just be a new effect on the armor or something. Not really sure on that one, and could use some help brainstorming ideas for newer raids thats realistic.

As I have been saying, modern fps games have diminished the controller aim skill gap so much with absurd AA, that the second a game doesn't give someone free Shroud aim, they think its a problem with the game. Perpetually forcing games to remove all aim skill from them or die.

Titan dodge uses your class ability and just moves you a little bit. hunter dodge uses class ability, charges twice as fast, reloads your gun or gives full melee. Turns off aim assist mid roll, and sometimes has damage resist. titan dodge is sick, but can use some perks

All the changes made to the game to purposefully bridge the skill gap between players in crucible should be removed now that sbmm is back in. Revert the special ammo change, the slide nerfs, some of the sniper nerfs, and finally just give us in air accuracy. Ty

Been on controller for almost 20 years of my life and this level of AA is absolutely ruining fps games. The aim skill gap is virtually non existent at this point in controller dominant games. And in shared spaces mnk is becoming non viable unless you’re top 0.001%

In pve, Well of radiance removes any need for worrying about survival, and renders the need for survival skills unnecessary. Then divinity removes the need of having aiming skills. combining the 2 creates a very static way of dealing with 99% of content that just isnt engaging.

So I confirmed on an alt that the game uses your social MMR for ranked as well. So if you do good in social, you get worse team mates and play against better players. Currently have a top 10 ranked player who now does extremely bad in social so his ranked matches are easier.

Using the idea that 50% win/loss predictability is best for matchmaking is assuming that the most important factor of a match is winning or losing rather than the actual experience of the game itself. No one has fun going 0 and 25 and winning the game.

For everyone asking. Ashen wake exotic arms. middle tree sunbreaker. Ashen wake refunds fusion nades on kill and makes them explode on impact. Roaring flames from middle tree makes nades one hit after 2 kills.

The reason warlocks can use 3 fragments of darkness and titans only get 1 is cause warlocks have always been shady punks since D1 and are actually agents of the darkness, while Titans, with their superior moral compass are the heros of this story TLDR Warlocks suck, F those guy

You know what stat correlates with winning? Winning. Match based on ranks, balance teams based on ranks, not mmr. Gain points for winning. Lose points for losing. Y’all had a matchmaking genius design this over a decade ago. This sunk cost fallacy with TS 2.0 has to end.

The new might be the most optimized game I have played. I have 240 frames locked when I barely get 120 on most games, and the game still looks great. The game launches almost instantly and the servers react instantly. Wish this was the norm

I am always told how the mmr system in halo is designed for player retention and that data backs them, and yet where are all those retained players? every player who understands the system hates it, yet we are stuck with it because of people who thinks we are all numbers

Aim assist designed to feel good for a 30 fps console game with input lag will always be overtuned on pc if its not adjusted seperately. I play both m/k and controller but the argument keeps ignoring this fact for some reason.

High ranked mouse lobbys in infinite, players have around 40-55% accuracy usually. Mid ranked controller lobbys are all 55-60+ accuracy for every player. Definitely pick controller if youre good at both.
