    Gave my daughter her second lesson yesterday. We got through control statements and indent-as-code-block, then she asked for some free coding time and built a simple random text generator.

    Realised I should probably repost this for . Hex map experiment in LibTCOD. Works perfectly, including the LOS system. (Controls are 89UOJK, if you were wondering.)

    I've given the LibTCOD pathfinding a look, and actually I think it shouldn't take too much fiddling to make it work with the hex grid. It's not a particularly complex A* implementation.
