Either way that should be removed upon appeal since its within their own guidelines but it was auto declined. There's absolutely no human "reviewing" these appeals contrary to what YouTube says so you have to jump through hoops just to get a real response from them

If they don't fix this soon I'm definitely filing a complaint with the FTC for unfair business practices. I've followed every avenue they offer to get help and nothing.

As of now I'm gonna do everything I can do to let creators and viewers know about this shady business going on behind the scenes and continue calling them out. All we can do for now.

I would say a combination of both. Censor smaller channels that don't bring in as much revenue for the appearance of doing something. Let big channels slide and collect that money. It's either all ok or none of it.

You shouldn't need to go through an MCN to keep a video following YouTube's guidelines, from being age restricted. Channels like IGN, Gamespot, and Kotaku don't go through MCN's and most of their videos are ok. But look through independent creators and most videos are restricted.
