Not to in any way diminish good, realistic mocap, which is incredibly complex and difficult to do well. We just don't really get fantastic, stylized facial animation like this in games very often, and it's a whole different kind of challenge to pull off. Such a treat to see.
Still watching this. Look at the way Spyro uses all his limbs to express himself, including his tail and wings. Absolutely the cats pajamas.

I really glad that they’re putting the effort and love in that Spyro deserves. The first three games were super solid and looked fantastic for the PS1.
