.@BryanLunduke And their twitter profile claims they "coined the term", though an article on the site (https://opensource.org/node/942 ) acknowledges that the term was already in use since at least 1996. OSI is another tool for corporate takeover of Open Source, same as @linuxfoundation.
.@downey @BryanLunduke @linuxfoundation @OpenSourceOrg OK, so why is @OpenSourceOrg using FUD to attempt to control use of the term "Open Source" when it doesn't seem to own a trademark for the term, and why is it claiming to have "coined" the term, though it didn't really?
