Been in SF for 2 hours and it’s heartbreaking. Streets lined with people keeled over, worse than ever. Drugs everywhere. I step into one store where a shoplifter gets caught and beats up a cashier until the police come.
Heading back to the airport.
Congrats @chesaboudin!

Sounds unbelievable. Lived near SF till 2004. Haven't visited since. It was lovely. Pier 39, New Year fireworks, cruises, Golden gate, the fast paced downtown, Free classes for hobbies, live shows and so on...

The late 80’s, 90’s, and early 00’s were golden years for SF and NYC.

Data scientist? New York City in the mid-80s to the mid-90s was crazy violent with >2K murders per year: 6 or 7 per day.
#NYC New York City has not been as safe as it has been these last few years in 6or 7 decades.pic.twitter.com/VL8dR7td6c

Please. NYC murder rates have always been minuscule compared with other world cities, e.g. 2.8 per 100K vs. 134.2 in Tijuana. “Crazy Violent” yeah sure.

Were we talking about world cities?
On what is @RudyGiuliani’s reputation made then?
