Parametric spaces are one of my favorite generative spaces because they are so big and so smushy. Paradoxically easy to make UI for (WALL O' SLIDERS) and so hard to make sense of as a userpic.twitter.com/BDeL0ZCCRv
"there are more corners that may be broken" Reminds me of the phrase I heard: "higher dimensional spheres are spiky" The more dimensions you have, the more of the space is in corners of the space. and in PCG the edges often have weird behaviors. So are higher dimensions risky?
hmmmmmmmm Is there a hunger for an opensource face creator for indie and academic uses? cuz I have ... a lot. I should release them.pic.twitter.com/aKwJX28C4n
From the Q&A: Mii's had a lot of novel and "breaking" uses of the facial pieces (eyebrows as mustaches, noses as eyes) That may be due to both the permissiveness of the sliders and the abstraction of the pieces, so, Lego-style, its easy to repurpose pieces creatively

I have complicated feelings about feature-based descriptions of social simulation languages. I see these diagrams and examples, but always struggle to get the differences from other systems. I don't know the best way to communicate a socialsim language, but I keep searchingpic.twitter.com/00bXMxGRBf
Dunno how you describe an expressive languages that *isn't* listing features and giving examples. But it does seem to keep me from following the field as much as I want
its a particularly nasty problem for this design space...
Perhaps I should be concerned that this is my reaction to seeing social sim code examplespic.twitter.com/TZqcuY2kus
And that it for our talks! All that's left is the community meeting in 10 minutes, to decide....what we want to be as a field!
