We didn’t stay home for months to give up now. With cases on the rise across the country, now is the time to double down on what works: Wear your face covering. Watch your distance. Wash your hands. Let’s be .

You’re trying to bring back 1918, the Great Depression and the worst racial and minority tensions since the 60s. We need a vision of the best in America, not what brings out the worst in one another.

Debt-to-GDP ratio was 80% PRE-COVID19. Republicans are the true overspenders in America. Worse, , wasted taxpayer $$$ on policies that rarely had good return on investment. That’s why deficits-debt soar under failed Republican economic and budgetary policies.

We can safely reopen schools. We just don’t have a public that can safely do it. We also don’t have a public that can safely keep schools closed. We don’t have a public that can safely do either.

2.2There is no framework that connects legislation with administration, agency, need, resources, pathways for the conservative mind. Bolton philosophy of govt is hollow of any shred of humanity. Where human effort & strain are necessary to make reality—a black hole stares back.

1:2 ’s entire foreign policy is premised around a philosophy that is just wrong. It’s also what is wrong with American institutions. There is no heart, no belief not understanding of how it works.

Suddenly, the value of those 520 days Bolton sat in his position, and those 139 days we waited for his book to be published after the trial was over, begin to seem as large as the 293 days that President Obama’s Supreme Court nominee sat before the Senate

No sarcasm: I really wish had decided to sell masks. Think of all the lives that could have been saved.

There’s a reason we’ve required face coverings in public since May 1. It reduces your risk of getting the virus. While other states are moving backward to battle a second wave, you have the power to keep Illinois moving forward. Wear a mask.

Let's do better than crying about crowd size & hand size! Let's finally replace the pipes in Flint, MI! Let's do what we haven't done in the last 4 or last 40 years by investing in the best in each other, not the worst! That's what I would like to see!

We need some stimulus or relief for true small businesses after all of these months, especially for restaurants and bars as we roll into Fall under continued limited guidelines? We can’t count on . Some Central & Southern Illinois workers/owners need more help.

It’s critical we get to the bottom of why Trump and his crony Barr wanted former U.S. attorney Berman out so badly. What are they trying to cover up?

I really wish people would pause before applying their positive-negative projected existence onto everything. Not much falls into those subjective categories. If you have to label, maybe you’re the origin story of your problem.

Trump adds his bits of racist sprinkles and white nationalist flavor, promoting ICE and the other federal agencies that he has used in our names to project violence, abuse, intimidation, violation and murder upon American citizens and other human beings.

My ancestors were enslaved. I dedicate this to them & all upon whose shoulders I stand. We will no longer allow justice to be delayed, & we certainly will not allow freedom to be denied! For all who refuse to be silent in the face of injustice, thank you.

To the >42,000 recipients in Illinois: I hope today's ruling brings you peace. This is a big victory & a giant step towards justice, equity & opportunity! You’re resilient & deserve to live w/o fear of deportation. This will always be your home.

Illinois will always be your home.
