    For my broken record - companies/ healthcare are starting to and should continue to grow in collecting more data from patients and then using that for solutions.

    The new rules actually addressed this issue. Originally CMS was saying that patients had to consent every time there was an interaction. The rules that went into affect 2020 call for consent once a year.

    T3: Not to be lynched here, but I think that some pharma who do it with transparency can make a lot of headway for patients and healthcare using social media. I haven't done it, but I think it can/is being done.

    On different social media for patients, I also notice that I think of a lot of "influencers" based on my own circle and format (primarily twitter). But I saw someone I know from highschool do incredible work on cancer with her facebook following.

    That said, I think twitter is best for and instant communication, I've seen patients use FB a lot when they can't check in all the time for an update for everyone. I know some patients like video. It's where people are personally comfortable.

    The different social media platforms are best for different people, thus for different patients. We shouldn't impart our biases in SM any more than other biases on patients. Instead, different communication for different choices. IMHO

    Over the years, many patients have told me that they don't like being a burden to their loved one. They feel guilt bc of loss of autonomy, independence. Don't want a caregiver. Carepartner is anyone at your side, sickness or health, on your team in time of need. 💖

    Such an interesting addition point to T3 from something said- what cost (if any) are we willing to pay for not having a wait time? Often times, you could be seen fast, but then quickly. Is that worth it?
