My dad, a right-leaning evangelical Christian, stopped saying “committed suicide” after I explained the origin of the phrase. He also knows his son is a survivor.

This guy, Solomon Pena, a failed GOP candidate in November, was arrested for allegedly hiring hitmen to shoot at the homes of Democratic elected officials. Police say he felt (baselessly) that his election loss was rigged. Wonder where he got that idea.

My first bill to file for 2023 is HB 1031, also known as the Restoration Of Sanity in Education Act. HB 1031 repeals HB 1775, which is a very broad and insidious classroom censorship bill which was passed and enacted in 2021.
