Do you think any of the Marvel characters that have already been in the MCU can get the Batman/James Bond treatment, or do you think they're too closely tied to this specific iteration for that to work out?

Well, at least we can't replace Hulk again.

It baffles my mind how many people already forgot how electric RDJ was as Stark. Sure, someone down the line will try the role but man is it going to be one of the hardest ones to do.

Considering how Doctor Strange (2016) tried the "asshole protagonist gets humbled for a higher calling" origin story and didn't work as well as Iron Man (2008), I think that's conclusive evidence to back up your statement.

RDJ established a franchise in ONE MOVIE. To discredit his (or any of those who worked on Iron Man) work is absurd.

It’s true though. Wilford Brimley would have made a perfectly adequate Iron Man.

The only thing that can defeat him is the Iron Diabeetus.

That's an... interesting take by the Sunday Times. If it's one thing that the MCU has had going for it, it's the freakishly apt casting choices.

I would say the first one thing Marvel has going for it is the amazing and awesome characters, created mostly by Jack Kirby or Steve Ditko with Stan Lee, that it has going for it. It's awesome they got great actors. But there is no question that the characters are #1.

RDJ rewrote that character. This blurb is dumb.
