I forgot about them indeed. But Shenmue is more linked to Sony now, and so are Yakuza and more. SEGA is not even all about games, they have arcades rooms and a big pachinko business in Japan. To me, it just seems that people are getting excited and ready to believe anything.
I'm not saying it can't happen, just that we need to be careful when spreading rumors. As Julien said, rumors also said that Sony was buying Take 2 and Remedy just after they bought Insomniac, and none of those things were true.
Of course, there's no reason to claim anything, but I tend to trust this rumor, at least a bit. It doesn't seem unlikely at all considering the Zenimax deal and past partnerships between SEGA & MS.
Must admit though there are some truly suspicious things.. the "Shock Blue" controller (same name than the Sonic-themed Addidas shoes) which is the first time MS has unveiled a different pad color at launch, noticeably, is... surprising.
