This @meganrcassidy piece in @sfchronicle is disappointing. Sure, it's decently reported; she does a good job balancing view points.
But we need to scrutinize which crime stories the Chron chooses to cover & amplify those it ignores. 1.https://www.sfchronicle.com/bayarea/article/Chesa-Boudin-and-San-Francisco-s-bitter-debate-16394364.php …

In April, I met
@meganrcassidy at a@prodemsj meeting. I told her that@santaclaraDA@Jeff_Rosen had released Sydney Whalen on a plea just weeks before she stabbed me 14x & murdered Daniel Torrez w. a hammer in a Hayward hotel room. I asked why@sfchronicle wouldn't cover it? 2.1 reply 0 retweets 1 likeShow this thread -
Unfortunately,
@megancassidy isn't the only@sfchronicle reporter I told this story to.@SarRavani tried to write about it & she was moved off the story by editors.@susanslusser lobbied the paper to cover it. They told her I wasn't a reliable source because I have PTSD. 3.2 replies 0 retweets 1 likeShow this thread -
Replying to @GackleReport
No one ever said anything remotely like that to me.

Susan, if this isn't why @sfchronicle refuses to tell the Sydney Whalen story, then what is the real reason?
How can the paper do a deep dive on @chesaboudin & just give @santaclaraDA @Jeff_Rosen a hall pass on releasing Sydney Whalen to the public?
