Rawness of horrors comes from the stories of my parents and other relatives who lived it firsthand. (I was born here a few years after their arrival.) Hearing about my grandpa’s survival story of imprisonment in a gulag, like other relatives, shook me to the core.
The reality of centrally planned economies and corresponding collectivist societies is ruin—mentally, physically, and death. Just like Nazism/National Socialism—cousin strains of totalitarianism. You don’t see people fleeing free enterprise for socialism in droves...
I know it was called a 'communist' society, but did the evils really come from the communist policies, or the authoritarian-stranglehold-derived policies?
Communism is incompatible with Human Nature which does not change and cannot be changed. Communism is Totalitarianism because that is the solution when Communism fails as it does every single time. No inventions will ever fix that but fools will try.
Mostly these young folks are just repeating rhetoric they hear from charismatic professors or celebrities. They're not being taught to think critically, rather to accept a party line that leads to their own demise. It's an agenda: Soviet-style "Active Measures" at work in the USA
