I can't think of one reason Biden should agree to any further debates. The sayings about playing chess with a pigeon, or wrestling a pig, come to mind. It only dignifies Trump, to the extent that that's possible. Which is to say not very much.

"Get out of hand" is a weird descriptor. His affect was essentially already turned up to 11 the very first time Biden spoke and he tried to interrupt. This wasn't a gradual unraveling; it was exactly who he is from start to finish with no notable peaks or valleys.

The issue, as was foreseeable, is Trump has spent 4 years NEVER being challenged. The only exceptions are the Swan interview and the Town Hall a few weeks ago (how'd those go?). He never has someone confront him on equal footing an no longer knows how to adapt bc he's a toddler.

I feel like this is ascribing a level of/capacity for emotional control to Trump that he does not possess. Biden said it best, "It is what it is because he is who he is." Continue to support this monster at your own peril.
