I agree that "evidence" as you described, is a dead end. But I asked you about motives, which I don't think is a dead end. Do you think Iran would like to have nuclear weapons?
Creating nuclear weapons is not something you can keep secret from a country like the US, let alone from the whole of NATO.

ok, at least I see where we disagree. I think its trivial to hide this stuff, if all one requires is reasonable doubt. So circumstantial evidence, or evidence from some sources doesn't count due to possible bias.

I also expect you underestimate how bad it would be if they did get nukes, and so are willing to accept that risk more easily.
