I find it hard to believe, given the scope of the project outlined in the documents, that US intelligence or Iraqi intelligence or any other intelligence service would not have picked something up.

yes, I know you find it hard to believe - its called evidence and it's dismissal is confirmation bias. So you see that "burden of proof" is not some objective thing, and you actually choose what to accept based on past experience.

The documents are not evidence of anything. If they were they would have convinvinced people. Fact is, they didn't even convince Trump's good friend Mike Pompeo. That should give you pause for thought.

:-) so now you say that good evidence should convince people, and because it didn't, then it must not be good evidence... So you've never seen people discredit perfect evidence because it didn't suit their preconception?

Because it's bullshit. I have no skin in this game: I'm no lover of Iran, or hater of Israel. I go by what's likeliest based on factual information. And so far, there is reams of evidence Iran is complying, and scant evidence that it isn't. So my default position remains the same

this perfectly explains your DEFAULT position, but not the level of certainty. Do you not think Iran would benefit by having nuclear weapons?

I'm trying to change the direction to motives, because we have established that we disagree with what constitutes good evidence. I could bring hundreds of examples of UN lying, and you could bring hundreds of examples of Bibi lying. So where does that leave us?

My info is not just based on the UN, though. It's also based on the chiefs of the US military, the EU, individual European countries including the UK, Russia, China, etc.

The only people disputing it are Trump, Netanyahu, and the Saudis, all of whom have been caught lying many times.

note that "lying" and "misinformed" or both options, and all those saying Iran is complying could be lying or wrong. Note how easily you mentioned UN as proof, without thinking twice about how many lies they propagate, that you KNOW of.
